Ben Franklin

Born in Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin moved to Philadelphia as a young man, where he established a successful printing business, and later became known as a writer, scientist, statesman, and inventor. Franklin was one of the earliest advocates for colonial unity, for which he has earned the title: “The First American.”
